Some of our professional partners that support this vision of our Alliance are The Rhode Island State Council on the Arts,The Rhode Island Foundation,The Rhode Island Department of Education,The Rhode Island Arts Learning Network,The Rhode Island Music Educators Association,The Rhode Island Arts Education Association, and University of Rhode Island, Providence Campus.
We Showcase
Our Alliance for the past 9 years, in partnership with The University of Rhode Island, has exhibited, statewide (PS2015) student Art, K through 12, at the URI Providence campus. The exhibition is scheduled annually for the month of May. Along with this statewide exhibit we display the Gift of Art to the State of Rhode Island. The Gift of Art represents an annually selected R.I district which gifts 9 student works, professionally framed through the Alliance and permanently exhibited in the halls of URI along with the past 16 previously selected districts. Everyone is always welcome to join us mid May for our annual reception and award ceremony.
